Group discussion strategy:

As an MSN student, I can use the discussion strategy to encounter difficult concepts and ensure that the group handles them appropriately. Collaboration and quality in discussing the various nursing concepts are good for quality and effective nursing discussions as required.

Benchmarking strategy

Going to other quality institutions to benchmark on the nursing practice and the MSN program is a good way to come out and ensure that better strategies are implemented as required. Based on the benchmarking strategy, I would enquire new tactics and techniques of learning MSN program and getting to interact with the sophisticated professionals can be effectively applied in the success of the programs.

Week 3 | Part 3: Strategies to Promote Academic Integrity and Professional Ethics

 

I have analyzed the relationship between academic integrity and writing, as well as the relationship between professional practices and scholarly ethics. I have also identified strategies I intend to pursue to maintain integrity and ethics of my academic work while a student of the MSN program, as well as my professional work as a nurse throughout my career. The results of these efforts are shared below.

Part 1: Writing Sample: The Connection Between Academic and Professional Integrity

Response

Academic integrity is required in writing since the content and sources are supposed to be effective in the implementation as required (Kidwell 2001). Academic writing is supposed to be genuine and not plagiarized and that is considered good and quality. Academic integrity must ensure that better strategies are followed for academic integrity. The sources authors must be acknowledged and given credits as required.

Professional practices go hand in hand with scholarly ethics(McCabe &Pavela, 2000). There should be maintenance of good ethics in the professional context to ensure that strategic interventions are followed for reduction of the risks. Based on the needed approaches and governance techniques, the professional standards are supposed to observe ethics just like scholarly ethics (McCabe &Pavela, 2000). Quality is necessary in the promotion of better interventions and strategic approaches for quality and comprehensive measures(McCabe &Pavela, 2000). The law is the same and it is required that better measures are followed for quality and effective interventions as required.

 

 

 

PART 2: Strategies for Maintaining Integrity of Work

Response

While pursing MSN program, I will ensure that better strategies are applied in the control of plagiarism. Based on the strategic measures, I will always ensure that better approaches are followed and better measures are followed as necessary. I will refrain from copying of assignments and other materials to ensure that genuine processes are implemented. Strategically, I will ensure that quality is implemented and strategic approaches implemented to reduce the cases of academic irregularities.

In the research program of MSN program, I will ensure that I acknowledge the good professionals who had published the sources. In the online platform, I will take the sources and cite appropriately to ensure that there is a genuine work as recommended. Also, I will focus on better explanations and ensure that strategic measures are implemented to reduce the challenges of tainted integrity. As a professional nurse, I will always follow the right procedure and ensure that the role of the nurses is incorporated and effectively implemented as necessary.

Week 4 | Part 4: Research Analysis

 

I have identified one topic of interest for further study. I have researched and identified one peer-reviewed research article focused on this topic and have analyzed this article. The results of these efforts are shared below.

Step 2: Summary of Analysis

My approach of finding peer-reviewed research is going online and getting the articles that are legitimate. Based on the approaches for identifying the peer-reviewed research, I will analyze the strengths and needed strategies for promotion of better approaches and quality as well. Based on the topic of the peer-reviewed research and needed approaches in the promotion and contribution to the discourse, the article is selected with precision.

The first strategy found to be effective in finding peer-reviewed research is by being specific on the topic. The second strategy is filtering the peer-reviewed research based on the level of relevance as required. Strategic measures for implementation of the strategies is required in an effective manner to ensure that the effective issues are addressed as required for promotion of quality outcomes.

A resource I intend to use in the future is Google Scholar website that has all the articles. Based on the search strategies availed and quality implemented, I will ensure that better measures are followed for control of the challenges and identification of the right articles.

Step 1: Comparison of Nursing Specialties

My selection is in psychiatry and mental health specialization. The specialization is good and necessary in the promotion of effective and quality mental health. I feel this is a good selection since it involves solving the problems of clients and ensuring that they have a good and healthy psychosocial life. Based on the strategic interventions, I prefer the approaches and necessary in the implementations that are necessary for control of the challenges as required.

The second choice and selection is Midwifery and I feel it is a good strategy in the promotion of quality and comprehensive mother care. I feel there is a difference in the training processes are different because the facilities required for the same are different. The specialization is in the psychiatric hospitals while for midwifery course, the facility required is the maternity section. I feel there is a difference in the same based on the attentions given to the same.

I choose MSN specialization in psychiatry and mental health because it is one of the best things and career paths that I value most. Based on the strategic measures and other approaches in the reduction of challenges, I will ensure that better policies are implemented and services given to the clients as required.

Being an extrovert in personality, I chose the specialization since I can perform the psychotherapy programs better. Effective measures in the promotion of quality and comprehensive measures is required for effective interventions. The health sector is required in the identification of major strategies as required. I feel psychiatry is a good specialization area and can offer the services confidently.

A professional organization in the United States that support and relate to psychiatry is American Psychiatric Nurses association. Based on the challenges that the psychiatric nurses face, they always have some of the best and quality strategies in the promotion of required approaches as necessary. Integrated strategies are followed and better measures implemented for the psychiatric nurses to deliver quality services as required by the organizations as well.

Joining the professional group requires academic and certifications that show an individual has studied and specialized in psychiatry. On the other hand, effective interventions in the control of challenges through a good strategy in subscription of the dues and fees is required. For one to quality and join the organization, there must be fees paid and subscription renewed to show annual commitment.
