Introduction

One can conduct a case study analysis on an individual, an event, or even a community. It describes the subject’s actions and experiences and is therefore highly subjective. Descriptive case studies, like those required for this task, are grounded on a theory, such the developmental theories discussed in the course textbook. The Interviewed and the Interrogated

To complete this task, you will conduct an interview with a non-family member and apply Erik Erikson’s theory of psychosocial phases to that person’s development over the course of their life. The interviewee must be informed (informed consent obtained) that they are being interviewed for academic purposes. Inform them that you are still gathering information and that you will not be revealing any personal information or presenting any conclusions about them at this time. If necessary, do a second interview to get answers to any questions that arose during the first.

To “set the stage” for your paper’s presentation of material, you should begin with a “Introduction of the Subject” that details the subject’s gender, age, personality, religious upbringing, ethnicity, socioeconomic situation, family dynamics, and functioning.
