Adding a introduction to this part as well. Working in public health, as a nurse you are being of service to the community. Public health nursing is geared towards education, teaching and prevention. To manage change is they key. Planned change in nursing can be necessary for several reasons but to implement these changes can be so stressful. As a leader we must incorporate our interpersonal skill to help our organization reach its full potential. Background helping the people of the community to receive family planning services such as birth control, papsmears, sti testing and annual breast exams are the services being offered. So wat we are doing are people who are symptomatic, we are seeing them and getting them in and just doing their papsmear. You just cant come in to b screened, u have to have sypmtoms or be a contact of someone who was positive for a sti. There are still so many people who are being left out due to our limited scheduling of people that we can see. With covid-19, they wanted to limit exposure to the public.
