Preventative care is becoming increasingly more popular within healthcare, particulary for treating chronic illnesses. According to Baily et al. (2019), preventaive care for inpatient, outpatient, and non-clincal mental health services as “suboptimal” According to Sá et al. (2016), patients generally have a poor understanding of what preventative care is. Giving such care can be challenging in a traditional healthcare setting.

Proper models are needed to give the best care.
