1.Personal Leadership Philosophies (15 points)
Develop and submit a personal leadership philosophy that reflects what you think are characteristics of a good leader. Identify core values, write philosophy statement, write mission statement, and write a vision statement.
A personal philosophy statement serves as an introduction to you, focusing more on your beliefs and values than on life experiences and biographical data. In this assignment it should reflect your beliefs and values that make you the nurse you are today and the nurse leader you hope to be in the future. Next write a personal mission and a vision statement. Mission statement is based upon your core values and tells us how and what you want to do today (in the present). This is in contrast to your vision statement, which tells us how you will live up to those core values in the future. 2.Assessment Summary: (Worth 15 points)Section two is a summary of your leadership profile as described by your Clifton-Strengths assessment- This summary is followed by a complete description and detailed discussion of two key behaviors (based upon your assessment) that you wish to strengthen. 3.Development Plan (Worth 55points) – This is worth the most points because this is where all of the content from your paper belongs- In other words this is the bulk of the paper.
