A 45-year-old lady appears with a 3-day history of shortness of breath, coughing with thick green sputum output, and fevers. The patient has a history of COPD with a chronic cough that has gotten significantly worse and is interfering with her sleep. Her sputum is thicker and more difficult for her to expectorate. The CXR shows a flattened diaphragm and an enlarged AP diameter. Auscultation reveals hyperresonance, coarse rales, and rhonchi in all lung areas. The infection would be targeted by the agent.
